Movie Matrix now gives you unlimited swaps until you find your first film — then you’ll have 10 swaps to complete the rest of the grid.
If you prefer a challenge (the previous default mode), you can enable Cinephile Mode in Settings (via the cog icon in the top right), which gives you 15 swaps total for the entire puzzle.
Find four movies by arranging the tiles in the grid so that each side (top, right, bottom, left) represents a movie. Corner tiles link two movies with shared clues.
Arranging tiles
- Drag and drop: Tap and hold an item, then drag it on top of another item to swap.
- Tap to Swap: Tap one item, then tap another to swap their places.
Correct tiles, wrong corners
Tiles will turn gold if they belong to the same movie, but the corners are incorrect.

Once corner tiles are in correct position, the row/column will lock in place and reveal the movie.
